  "text": "For the calculation of the EEI of a household dishwasher model, the eco programme energy consumption (‘EPEC’) of the household dishwasher is compared to its standard programme energy consumption (‘SPEC’).\n(a)The EEI is calculated as follows and rounded to one decimal place:\nEEI = (EPEC/SPEC) × 100\nwhere:\nEPEC is the eco programme energy consumption of the household dishwasher measured in kWh/cycle and rounded to three decimal places;\nSPEC is the standard programme energy consumption of the household dishwasher.\n(b)The SPEC is calculated in kWh/cycle and rounded to three decimal places as follows:\n(i)for household dishwashers with rated capacity ps ≥ 10 and width > 50 cm:\nSPEC = 0,025 × ps + 1,35\n(ii)for household dishwashers with rated capacity ps ≤ 9 or width ≤ 50 cm:\nSPEC = 0,09 × ps + 0,45\nwhere ps is the number of place settings.",
