Article 19 Information obligation of the competent authority as regards registers of transporters of kept ungulates, dogs, cats and ferrets, and poultry

1.

The competent authority shall include, in its register of transporters engaged in the transportation between Member States or between a Member State and a third country of kept ungulates, dogs cats and ferrets, and poultry, registered with it, the following information for each transporter:

(a)

the unique registration number assigned to it;

(b)

the date of registration with the competent authority;

(c)

the name and address of the operator;

(d)

the species for which transportation is planned;

(e)

the type of transport;

(f)

the means of transport;

(g)

the date of any cessation of activity when the operator has informed the competent authority thereof.

2.

For each transporter of kept ungulates, dogs cats and ferrets, as referred to in paragraph 1, the competent authority shall include information in its register of transporters on the number of animals for which transportation is planned.

3.

For each transporter of poultry as referred to in paragraph 1, the competent authority shall include information in its register of transporters on the categories of poultry for which transportation is planned.
