# Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2239 of 1 October 2019 specifying details of the landing obligation for certain demersal fisheries in North-Western waters for the period 2020-2021, Article 5: Survivability exemption for skates and rays

1. The survivability exemption provided for in Article 15(4)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013 shall apply skates and rays (Rajiformes) caught by any fishing gear in the North Western Waters (ICES subareas 6 and 7).
