2. (2)In addition to the samples required in accordance with point (1), in 2020 the competent authorities must collectively take and analyse five samples of infant formulae and five samples of follow-on formulae.

4. (4)Competent authorities using multi-residue methods may use qualitative screening methods on up to 15 % of the samples to be taken and analysed in accordance with point (1). Where a competent authority uses qualitative screening methods, it shall analyse the remaining number of samples by quantitative multi-residue methods.
