  "heading": "Definitions",
  "text": "(1.) In this Regulation:\n(a) ‘the 1990 Act’ means the Food Safety Act 1990;\n(b) ‘appropriate authority’ means:\n(i) in relation to England, the Secretary of State;\n(ii) in relation to Scotland, the Scottish Ministers;\n(iii) in relation to Wales, the Welsh Ministers;\n(c) ‘constituent nation’ means England, Scotland or Wales as the case may be.\n(2.) In this Regulation, insofar as it relates to the use of oenological practices in England Wales Scotland, ‘OIV Code of Oenological Practices’ means the 2023 issue of the International Code of Oenological Practices published by the International Organisation of Vine and Wine in Dijon in France in January 2023 (ISBN 978-2-85038-071-6).",
