Article 11 Value of lost load

Where required for the purpose of setting a reliability standard in accordance with Article 25, the relevant authority must determine a single estimate of the value of lost load for Great Britain. That estimate must be made publicly available. The relevant authority may determine different estimates per bidding zone if there is more than one bidding zone in Great Britain. Where a bidding zone consists of more than one control area, the relevant authority must determine a single estimate of the value of lost load for that bidding zone.

F2The relevant authority shall update F3its estimate of the value of lost load at least every five years, or earlier where F4it F5observes a significant change.

In this Article, “relevant authority” means the Secretary of State or the regulatory authority.
