# Council Regulation (EU) 2020/1108 of 20 July 2020 amending Regulation (EU) 2017/2454 as regards the dates of application in response to the COVID‐19 pandemic, Article 1

Regulation (EU) 2017/2454 is amended as follows:
(1) in Article 1, point (7) is amended as follows:
(a) in point (a), the heading of Section 2 is replaced by the following:
‘ Provisions applicable from 1 January 2015 until 30 June 2021 ’;
(b) point (b) is amended as follows:
(i) the heading of Section 3 is replaced by the following:
‘ Provisions applicable from 1 July 2021 ’;
(ii) Article 47a is replaced by the following:
‘Article 47a The provisions of this Section shall apply from 1 July 2021.’;
(2) in Article 2, the second paragraph is replaced by the following:
‘It shall apply from 1 July 2021.’.
