implementing Article 9 of Regulation (EC) No 1183/2005 imposing certain specific restrictive measures directed against persons acting in violation of the arms embargo with regard to the Democratic Republic of the Congo
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 1183/2005 of 18 July 2005 imposing certain specific restrictive measures directed against persons acting in violation of the arms embargo with regard to the Democratic Republic of the Congof1, and in particular Article 9(5) thereof,
Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,
Whereas:

On 18 July 2005, the Council adopted Regulation (EC) No 1183/2005.

On 19 August 2020, the United Nations Security Council Committee established pursuant to United Nations Security Council Resolution 1533 (2004) amended the listings for two persons and three entities subject to restrictive measures.
(3)
Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 1183/2005 should therefore be amended accordingly,
