# Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/1749 of 7 October 2020 amending Council Regulation (EC) No 428/2009 setting up a Community regime for the control of exports, transfer, brokering and transit of dual-use items, Division Note:: "OAM" does not include any of the following tasks or their associated key management functions:

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

a.. Provisioning or upgrading any cryptographic functionality that is not directly related to establishing or managing authentication data in support of the tasks described in paragraphs a.1. or a.2. above; or
b.. Performing any cryptographic functionality on the forwarding or data plane of an item.
