# Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/1818 of 17 July 2020 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2016/1011 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards minimum standards for UK Climate Transition Benchmarks and UK Paris-aligned Benchmarks, Article 2: Reference temperature scenario

Administrators of UK Climate Transition Benchmarks and administrators of UK Paris-aligned Benchmarks shall use the 1,5 °C scenario, with no or limited overshoot, referred to in the Special Report on Global Warming of 1,5 °C from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as the reference temperature scenario to design the methodology to construct those benchmarks.
