# Regulation (EU) 2020/2226 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 December 2020 on certain aspects of aviation safety with regard to the end of the transition period provided for in the Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community (Text with EEA relevance), Article 3: Validity of certificates

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

The design certificates referred to in Article 1(2) shall be deemed to have been issued with effect from the date referred to in Article 5(2):
(1) by the Agency, in respect of certificates referred to in Article 1(2) that were issued by the Agency;
(2) by an organisation approved by the Agency, in respect of certificates referred to in Article 1(2) that were issued by a design organisation approved by the Agency.
