# Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/239 of 20 February 2020 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) No 901/2014 with regard to the adaptation of the templates for type-approval procedures for two- or three-wheel vehicles and quadricycles to the environmental steps Euro 5 and Euro 5+ requirements (Text with EEA relevance), Division (4): Annex VIII is amended as follows:

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(a) point 2.2.1.1.2 is replaced by the following:
2.2.1.1.2. ‘Environmental step of test vehicle: Euro 3, Euro 4, Euro 5, Euro 5+ (3) (4)’;
(b) point 2.2.1.9.3 is amended as follows:
(i) the heading is replaced by the following:
2.2.1.9.3. ‘Test type VIII environmental results (Annex VI (B1) to Regulation (EU) No 168/2013) (3)’;
(ii) Table 5-11 is amended as follows:
the heading is replaced by the following:
‘ Table 5-11
OBD emission thresholds (section B1 of Annex VI to Regulation (EU) No 168/2013) and environmental test results in case of malfunction ’,
the cells relating to vehicle category L6e-A are deleted;
(c) in point 2.2.1.6.3.3.2, Table 5-7, is amended as follows:
(i) the text in second cell of the row concerning TRTTV1x (i) (ii) is replaced by:
‘x(v) km’;
(ii) the following explanatory note is added:
(v) ‘Replace x by 100, 2 500, or 3 500, in accordance with the provisions set out in Article 23(3), point (c) of Regulation (EU) No 168/2013.’;
(d) point 2.2.1.9.4 is amended as follows:
(i) the heading is replaced by the following:
2.2.1.9.4. ‘Test type VIII environmental results (Annex VI (B2) to Regulation (EU) No 168/2013) (3)’;
(ii) Table 5-12 is amended as follows:
the heading is replaced by the following:
‘ Table 5-12
OBD emission thresholds (section B2 of Annex VI to Regulation (EU) No 168/2013) and environmental test results in case of malfunction ’,
the text in the first cell of the row concerning vehicle category L3e – L7e is replaced by:
‘L3e, L4e, L5e and L7e’.
