Article 12 Requirements for vegetation and characteristics of open air areas

Open air areas shall be attractive to porcine animals. Where possible, preference shall be given to fields with trees or forests.

Open air areas shall provide outdoor climate as well as access to shelters and means allowing the regulation of body temperature of porcine animals.
