  4. 2.2 Section 2:(only for a GB type-approval of a system, component or separate technical unit) The number of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council, Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council, Commission Delegated Regulation , Commission Implementing Regulation or Statutory Instrument laying down the applicable requirements. For a GB type-approval of a system, component or separate technical unit, one of the following shall be indicated, as applicable:

  6. 2.4 Section 4:(applicable to all approvals): A five-digit sequential number (with leading zeros as applicable) for a GB whole-vehicle type-approval, GB type-approval of vehicles produced in medium series, GB type-approval of vehicles produces in small series, a system, component or separate technical unit. The sequence shall start from 00001 for each Regulation that is indicated in section 2 for a type-approval of a system, component or separate technical unit, or in section 3 for a whole-vehicle type-approval.
