  "heading": "Risk ranking to be applied in certain approved aquaculture establishments",
  "text": "The risk ranking referred to in point 1.2 of Chapter 1 must as a minimum, take into account the risk factors referred to in points (a) and (b). Where relevant, points (c) to (l) will also be considered:\n(a) possibility of the direct spread of pathogens via water;\n(b) movements of aquaculture animals;\n(c) type of production;\n(d) species of aquaculture animals kept;\n(e) biosecurity system, including staff competence and training;\n(f) density of aquaculture establishments and processing establishments in the area around the establishment concerned;\n(g) proximity of establishments with a lower health status than the establishment concerned;\n(h) disease history of the establishment concerned and of other local establishments;\n(i) presence of infected wild aquatic animals in the area around the establishment concerned;\n(j) risk posed by human activities in the proximity of the establishment concerned for example angling, the presence of transport routes, ports at which ballast water is exchanged;\n(k) access to the establishment concerned by predators which may cause disease spread;\n(l) track record of the establishment as regards compliance with the requirements of the competent authority.",
