  "text": "Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/8\nof 7 January 2020\nimplementing Article 12(1) of Regulation (EU) 2017/1770 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Mali\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,\nHaving regard to Council Regulation (EU) 2017/1770 of 28 September 2017 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Mali and in particular Article 12(1) thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal of the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 28 September 2017, the Council adopted Regulation (EU) 2017/1770.\n(2)\nOn 19 December 2019, the United Nations Security Council Sanctions Committee established by paragraph 9 of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2374 (2017) added five persons to the list of persons and entities subject to assets freeze set out in paragraphs 4 to 7 of Resolution 2374 (2017).\n(3)\nAnnex I to Regulation (EU) 2017/1770 should therefore be amended accordingly,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:",
