# Exchequer Court (Scotland) Act 1856, Section 41: Jurisdiction of sheriffs and justices in Exchequer cases saved.


Nothing in this Act contained shall operate to prevent the exercise by any sheriff principal or justice of the peace in Scotland of any jurisdiction at present competent to such sheriff principal or justice respectively.
