This Order declares Roehampton University to be an exempt charity within the meaning of the Charities Act 1993 with effect from 31st July 2004. An exempt charity is not required to be registered with the Charity Commission and the Commissioners cannot exercise any powers under the Act in relation to an exempt charity except at the charity’s request.
