# The Export Control (Amendment) Order 2006, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of defects in SI 2006/1696 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the Export Control Act 2002:
