  "text": "Customs\nMade 4th June 2019\nLaid before Parliament 6th June 2019\nComing into force 30th June 2019\nThe Secretary of State is a Minister designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to measures relating to trade in certain goods, including technical assistance, which could be used for capital punishment, torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.\nIt appears to the Secretary of State that it is expedient for references in this Order to Regulation (EU) 2019/125 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16th January 2019, or to any provision of that regulation, to be construed as references to that instrument or to any such provision as amended from time to time.\nThe Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of, and paragraph 1A of Schedule 2 to the European Communities Act 1972 and sections 1, 2, 5 and 7 of the Export Control Act 2002, makes the following Order:",
