Article 1

This Order may be cited as the Export Control (Democratic Republic of Congo) Order 2005 and shall come into force on the 27 ^th June 2005.

In this Order—

• “the Regulation” means Council Regulation (EC) No 889/2005 of 13 June 2005^f1; and

• “customs and excise Acts”, “assigned matter” and “prescribed sum” have the same meanings as in section 1 of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979^f2.
