Article 2

The Export of Goods (Control) Order 1991^f1 shall be amended as follows—

(a)

for head (c) in entry PL 5001 in Group 1 in Part II of Schedule 1, there shall be substituted the following—

“(c)

Leg-irons, shackles (excluding any pair of handcuffs the maximum dimension of which when locked does not exceed 240mm) and gangchains, specially designed for restraining human beings…C”; and

(b)

in Schedule 2—

(i)

after “Albania” there shall be inserted—

“Armenia

Azerbaijan

Belarus”;

(ii)

for “Czech and Slovak Republic” there shall be substituted—

“Czech and Slovak Federal Republic

Estonia

Georgia”;

(iii)

after “Hungary” there shall be inserted—

“Kazakhstan

Kirgizstan

Latvia

Lithuania

Moldova”;

(iv)

after “Romania” there shall be inserted—

“Russian Federation”; and

(v)

for “Union of Soviet Socialist Republics” there shall be substituted—

“Tajikistan

Turkmenistan
