# The Extradition Act 2003 (Amendments to Designations) Order 2020, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 10th March 2020
Coming into force in accordance with article 1
The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1), 69(1), 74(11)(b) and 223(3)(b) and (9) of the Extradition Act 2003.
In accordance with section 223(5) of that Act a draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
