# The Extradition Act 2003 (Commencement and Savings) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2003, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Extradition Act 2003 (Commencement and Savings) Order 2003, by replacing article 3 of that Order. Article 2(2) substitutes a new article 3 which makes it clear that the Extradition Act 2003 shall not come into force for any request for extradition made under the existing legislation.
