  "text": "The following additional definitions shall be inserted, in their appropriate places (by alphabetical order), in section 35(1):\n““the Administrator” means the person holding the office of Administrator of the British Indian Ocean Territory and includes any person for the time being lawfully discharging the functions of that office;\n“Magistrate” means any person appointed as such by under the Courts Ordinance 1983 of the British Indian Ocean Territory and includes a Senior Magistrate so appointed;\n“the Magistrates' Court” means the Magistrates' Court established by the Courts Ordinance 1983 of the British Indian Ocean Territory;\n“Peace Officer” means any person appointed as such under the Courts Ordinance 1983 of the British Indian Ocean Territory;”.",
