  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order applies the Extradition Act 1989 (c. 33) so as to make extraditable offences under section 1 of the Taking of Hostages Act 1982 (c. 28) (hostage-taking), attempts to commit such offences and participation in the commission of such offences. It applies to certain States, Parties to the Convention against the Taking of Hostages, signed at New York on 18th December 1979.",
