Article 17 Unopposed Petition

In a case where either no letter of objection has been received under rule 16 or, if such letter of objection has been received, no particulars of objection have been submitted within the time allowed by rule 16(4)(iii), or where the chancellor is satisfied that all the parties concerned consent to the grant of a faculty, the chancellor may, subject to the production of any relevant evidence, and subject to the requirements of section 17 of the Measure, grant the faculty.
