LOCAL GOVERNMENT, SCOTLAND

Made 16th December 1998

Coming into force 1st January 1999

Whereas under section 17(1) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973f1, as read with Schedule 5 to that Actf2, the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland on 30th September 1998 submitted to the Secretary of State a report on a review together with its proposals for the future electoral arrangements for the area of Falkirk Council;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 17(2) and 233(3) of, and Schedule 5 to, the said Act and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:
