  "heading": "Advisory Committee on the Prerogative of Mercy",
  "text": "(1) There shall be an Advisory Committee on the Prerogative of Mercy which shall consist of—\n(a) two elected members of the Legislative Assembly appointed by the Governor after consultation with the elected members of the Assembly;\n(b) the Chief Executive;\n(c) the Attorney General; and\n(d) the Chief Medical Officer.\n(2) An appointed member of the Advisory Committee shall vacate his or her office—\n(a) if his or her appointment is revoked by the Governor, acting in his or her discretion;\n(b) if he or she ceases to be a member of the Legislative Assembly or is required, under section 31, to cease to perform his or her functions as such; or\n(c) in any other case, at the expiration of four years from the date of his or her appointment.\n(3) The Advisory Committee shall adopt its own rules of procedure, but such rules shall require the approval of the Legislative Assembly by resolution.",
