# The Family Procedure (Amendment No.3) Rules 2013, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force in accordance with rule 1
The Family Procedure Rule Committee makes the following rules in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 75 and 76 of the Courts Act 2003, section 18(1A) of the Maintenance Orders (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1972, sections 12 and 48 of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982, sections 10 and 24 of the Child Abduction and Custody Act 1985 and section 141(1) of the Adoption and Children Act 2002, after consulting in accordance with section 79 of the Courts Act 2003.
