# The Family Procedure (Amendment) Rules 2015, Introduction: Introductory text

The Family Procedure Rule Committee makes the following rules in exercise of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982 and by sections 75 and 76 of the Courts Act 2003, after consulting in accordance with section 79 of the Courts Act 2003.
