# The Family Procedure (Amendment) Rules 2022, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force in accordance with rule 1
The Family Procedure Rule Committee makes the following Rules in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 75 and 76(8) of the Courts Act 2003, section 1(10) of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 and section 44(6) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004, having fulfilled the requirements of section 79(1) of the Courts Act 2003:
