  "heading": "Types of application for which Part 18 procedure may be followed",
  "text": "(1) The Part 18 procedure is the procedure set out in this Part.\n(2) An applicant may use the Part 18 procedure if the application is made—\n(a) in the course of existing proceedings;\n(b) to start proceedings except where some other Part of these rules prescribes the procedure to start proceedings; or\n(c) in connection with proceedings which have been concluded.\n(3) Paragraph (2) does not apply—\n(a) to applications where any other rule in any other Part of these rules sets out the procedure for that type of application;\n(b) if a practice direction provides that the Part 18 procedure may not be used in relation to the type of application in question.\n(4) This Part is subject to any provision made by or pursuant to Part 41 (proceeding by electronic means).",
