# The Family Proceedings (Amendment No. 3) Rules 1997, Article 9: Citation, commencement and interpretation


Subject to paragraph 10(3) of Schedule 9 to the Family Law Act 1996, rules 2 to 8 shall not apply to proceedings commenced before Part IV of that Act came into force.
