# The Farm and Conservation Grant (Variation) Scheme 1996, Section 4: Variation of the principal Scheme


After paragraph 7(1) there shall be inserted the following sub-paragraphs:—
“(1A) Subject to paragraphs (1B) and (2) below, the appropriate Minister shall not, in relation to an agricultural business in Wales, pay any grant under this Scheme unless the claim for grant is received by him on or before 18th February 1998.
(1B) Sub-paragraph (1A) above shall not apply to a claim for grant made in relation to any work, facility or transaction of a kind specified in paragraph 1(b) or (c) in column 1 of Schedule 1.”.
