This Order specifies certain businesses which, when carried on by a person also carrying on a business consisting in or partly in the pursuit of agriculture on the same or adjacent land, are included in the definition of “agricultural business” in section 28(1) of the Agriculture Act 1970. The specified businesses may thus become eligible for farm capital grants which under section 29(1) of that Act may be made in connection with the carrying on or establishment of an agricultural business.
