The F.S.S.U. (Temporary Service) Regulations provide for superannuation contributions in respect of temporary Government service before appointment to a permanent post superannuable under F.S.S.U. These Regulations amend the main Regulations in two particulars:—

    Regulation 4 (3) (a) of the main Regulations would have excluded from the salary upon which the contribution is to be based not only 1939 war bonus paid before 1st July, 1944, but also 1914–1918 war bonus paid during the period following 1919. This was not intended, and Regulation 1 (1) restricts the exclusion to 1939 war bonus.
