# The Feed-in Tariffs Order 2012, Paragraph 1: The greenhouse gas criteria


The biogas used to generate electricity at a relevant installation meets the greenhouse gas criteria if the greenhouse gas emissions from each consignment of biomass used to make the biogas are equal to, or less than, the relevant target.
