# The Feeding Stuffs (Enforcement) (Amendment) Regulations 2003, Introduction: Introductory text

The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, being designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Community, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by that section, and having carried out any consultation required by Article 9 of Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council hereby makes the following Regulations:
