(1)

No material shall contain any added preservative named or described in columns 2 and 3 of Chapter A of Part VII, unless the material complies with the conditions (if any) specified in relation thereto in column 4 of that Chapter.

(2)

No material shall contain any added preservative specified in columns 2 and 3 of Chapter B of Part VII which, taking into account any such preservative which is naturally present, exceeds the maximum content specified in relation thereto in column 5.

(3)

No material shall contain any added preservative specified in columns 2 and 3 of Chapter B of Part VII unless the material is for a species or category of animal listed opposite the preservative in question in column 4 of that Chapter, and is used in accordance with the specifications, if any, laid down in respect of it in columns 5 to 7 thereof.
