Regulation 2 Amendment of the Films (Certification) Regulations 1985

The following shall be inserted after regulation 7 of the Films (Certification) Regulations 1985^f1—

If, following an election by the applicant pursuant to article 1(2) of the Films (Modification of the Definition of “British Film”) Order 1999^f2 (“the Order”) the application falls to be determined by the Secretary of State in accordance with Schedule 1 to the Films Act 1985 as it stood before the commencement of the Order, these regulations shall apply to the application as if the Films (Certification) (Amendment) Regulations 1999^f3 had not been made.”.
