# The Finance Act 1981 (Import Procedures) (Commencement) Order 1982, Note: Explanatory note


This Order brings into force on 1st April 1982 all the amendments to the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979 (c.2) which are specified in Schedule 6 to the Finance Act 1981. The effect of the amendments is to modify import procedures.
