  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order brings section 140 of the Finance Act 2002 (c. 23) into force on 11th March 2004. That section amends section 47 of the Finance Act 1942 (c. 21) so as to permit the Treasury to make regulations for the administration of UK gilts by such person or persons as they appoint, and to make consequential incidental, supplementary and transitional provisions.",
