# Finance Act 2025, Paragraph 13: Residence of trustees: domicile of settlor no longer relevant

(1) In the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 (S.I. 2017/692), regulation 42 (application of Part 5) is amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph (2)(d)(ii), omit “and domiciled”.
(3) After paragraph (2) insert—
“(2A) In relation to a trust that was set up before 6 April 2025, paragraph (2)(d)(ii) has effect as if after “resident” there were inserted “and domiciled”.”
