# The Financial Services Act 2012 (Consequential Amendments) Order 2013, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st April 2013
The Treasury make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 118 of the Financial Services Act 2012 (“the Act”):
In accordance with section 116(2)(d) of the Act, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
