# The Financing of Maintained Schools (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2002, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Financing of Maintained Schools (England) Regulations 2002, by adding a provision to Schedule 4 to enable local education authority schemes for financing schools to include provisions in relation to the expenditure by governing bodies on community facilities under section 27 of the Education Act 2002.
