(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend the Fines (Deductions from Income Support) Regulations 1992 (S.I. 1992/2182) by removing for magistrates' courts in England and Wales the requirement to use a prescribed form when making an application to the Secretary of State for deductions from income support or jobseeker’s allowance. The Schedule that contains the form is also omitted.

Regulation 3 revokes a provision of the State Pension Credit (Consequential, Transitional and Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 2002 which amends the Schedule containing the prescribed form and which would have come into force on 6th October 2003.

These Regulations does not impose a charge on business.
