# Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004, Paragraph 74


In section 2(2) of the Smoke Detectors Act 1991 (power of local authorities to dispense with or relax requirements in relation to smoke detectors), for “fire authority” substitute “ fire and rescue authority ”.
