# The Fire and Rescue Services (Emergencies) (England) Order 2007, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 6th April 2007
The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 9 and 60 of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004.
In accordance with section 9(5) of that Act, she has consulted such persons as she considered appropriate.
