# The Fire and Rescue Services (Framework) (Scotland) Order 2005, Introduction: Introductory text


FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICES
Made 13th September 2005
Laid before the Scottish Parliament 14th September 2005
Coming into force 6th October 2005
The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 40(4) of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and after consulting each relevant authority or such persons as they consider represent those authorities and such persons as they consider represent employees of those authorities in accordance with section 40(5) of that Act, hereby make the following Order:
